Mumbai Market Watch | Office H1 2025

With gross absorption of 6.7 mn sq. ft. in H1 2025, Mumbai’s share in India’s top cities rose to 18% this year from 17% in H1 2024. Large-sized deals of over 100,000 sq. ft., accounting for about 37% share, were mainly signed by BFSI occupiers in the micromarkets of Western Suburbs I and Western Suburbs II. While the IT sector led the demand with a 30% share, BFSI has recently gained pace and captured a 28% share in the first half of this year.
