Savills Singapore launches Vauxhall Residences amid Liverpool’s next wave of regeneration

New development in the emerging Pumpfields district offers access to Liverpool’s growing northern waterfront

Savills Singapore is pleased to present Vauxhall Residences, a new residential development in Liverpool’s emerging Pumpfields district, offering buyers access to one of the city’s most significant regeneration areas.

Known globally for its music, football, maritime heritage and distinctive waterfront, Liverpool has evolved into a major regional centre for business, education and culture. The city is home to more than 70,000 university students, including those at the Russell Group University of Liverpool, while continued investment in infrastructure, residential development and the public realm is reshaping large parts of the city.

Located within Pumpfields, Vauxhall Residences comprises 158 one- and two-bedroom apartments and two- and three-bedroom townhouses. Developed by Rosmara Development Group, the project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2028. Residences are offered on 999-year leases with no annual ground rent.

The development forms part of the wider transformation taking place along Liverpool’s northern waterfront. Pumpfields is a 75-acre regeneration zone planned to deliver more than 7,000 homes alongside a new urban park, public squares, green corridors and improved connections to the waterfront. The masterplan is designed to transform the former industrial district into a connected mixed-use neighbourhood.

The wider area is also benefiting from investment in Liverpool Waters and the northern regeneration corridor, which is bringing new residential communities, commercial opportunities, hotels and public spaces to the waterfront and extending Liverpool’s urban core northwards.

Vauxhall Residences is well connected to Liverpool’s commercial, cultural and leisure destinations. Moorfields railway station is approximately 0.6 km away, while Liverpool Lime Street station, the city’s principal national rail hub, is approximately 1.3 km away, providing direct services to destinations including London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. Liverpool ONE, the Royal Albert Dock and the city’s waterfront are also within easy reach.

Designed for contemporary urban living, Vauxhall Residences will offer a range of resident amenities, including a fully equipped gym, co-working space, café and rooftop gardens. The development also incorporates landscaped areas and active ground-floor spaces designed to foster a sense of community.

Liverpool’s higher education sector is another important part of the city’s appeal. Its universities are home to a student population of more than 70,000. The University of Liverpool is a founding member of the Russell Group and ranks among the world’s top 150 universities. Liverpool John Moores University and the city’s wider academic and research institutions also contribute to a substantial student and graduate population.

Adrian Lim, Senior Director and Head of International Residential Sales, Savills Singapore, said: "Liverpool has a compelling combination of attributes for Singapore buyers looking at the UK. It is a globally recognised city with a strong cultural identity, a large student population and an established business base, while significant regeneration is creating new neighbourhoods and opportunities beyond its traditional city centre.

"Vauxhall Residences sits within one of these emerging areas. Pumpfields’ proximity to Liverpool city centre and the waterfront, together with the scale of regeneration planned for the wider district, makes it particularly interesting for buyers taking a longer-term view. The combination of connectivity, regeneration and Liverpool’s continued evolution as a place to live, work and study adds to the appeal of the development."
