Australia’s largest furniture importer and wholesaler Dixie Cummings has secured a sub-lease at 183 Viking Drive, Wacol QLD for the next three years.
The 12,220sq m fully racked, A-Grade warehouse/office was built in 2013 and features a 10 metre internal height, multiple recessed docks, multiple on-grade roller doors and a corporate office space.
The deal was negotiated by Chris Young of Savills Industrial & Logistics and represents one of the largest single lease deals in the western suburbs this year.
Dixie Cummings previously occupied a 5,000sq m warehouse in Pinkenba however the move to the west made sense as a number of their clients and transport operators are located in the area.
The facility was surplus to the needs of the head lessee, as they had recently consolidated into one warehouse interstate.
The complicated deal was negotiated throughout the COVID-19 period.
