A Trust Company has purchased 1.481 hectares of industrial land from CTC Port Holdings Pty Ltd for $6.5 million.
Located at 146 Canberra Street, Hemmant, Queensland, the property is currently occupied by Tyne Container Services (Qld) Pty Ltd under a five year lease with a five year option.
Tyne Containers also occupy the neighboring container park site. They are a locked in tenant who have one of the largest empty container parks within close proximity to the Port of Brisbane. The yield achieved was 6.37 percent.
The off market transaction was negotiated by Shaw Harrison, Savills Industrial & Logistics, who said “The purchaser chose the property due to its prime location within close proximity to the Port of Brisbane and the southern Trade Coast industry precinct as well as the benefit of a longstanding tenant.”
