The Western Corridor’s newest premium land offering is here

An exciting new development site in Major Planned Community, Flagstone Estate, in South East Queensland has hit the market.

The new development site has flexible zoning allowing for Retail, Showroom, Low Impact Industry, Multi Residential, Commercial, Medical, Education or Recreational uses.

Greater Flagstone is one of Australia’s largest urban zoned Greenfield developments and set to become home to over 120,000 people. Flagstone is strategically located in the Logan growth corridor, 45km south-west of the Brisbane CBD, and will be a key location for Brisbane’s future urban growth.

Located on Homestead Drive in Flagstone City, James Stevenson and Will Carman of Savills Australia and Andrew Burke and Matthew Fritzsche of Ray White are selling commercial land opportunities comprising Stage 7C, 7D, 7G and 7H with Lot sizes ranging from 1,710sq m* to 6.9ha* with purpose built lease or purchase buildings available.

Homestead Drive is prominently located with dominant exposure at the main entrance to the Flagstone precinct and will be immediately surrounded by a brand new Neighbourhood shopping centre anchored by 4,000sq m* Coles, Convenience Centre anchored by IGA, medical centre with specialty stores, 120-place childcare centre and a 7-Eleven service station.

According to Will Carman of Savills Australia, Greater Flagstone is one of South East Queensland’s most visionary new addresses.

“Core to the Greater Flagstone area is Peet’s Flagstone City (Flagstone). Greater Flagstone will house 120,000 people and will feature a 126-hectare City Centre and a wide range of services such as retail, commercial, industrial, educational, medical, recreational and civic uses.

“The scale of development will give businesses the opportunity to flourish by servicing both the growing local catchment and wider regional corridors,” he said.

Over the next 30 years, over 50,000 homes will be delivered within the residential neighbourhoods that surround the City Centre and when complete it will provide employment for over 10,000 people. Currently, the Greater Flagstone area is home to approximately 6,000 residents and is serviced by a small convenience centre.

Mr Stevenson went on to say that the population of Flagstone is forecast to rapidly expand as the various residential developments within Greater Flagstone advance.

According to Andrew Burke of Ray White, there has been strong demand for commercial sites at Flagstone since the project commenced in 2016.

“Recent commercial transactions at Flagstone include the sale of a Coles Shopping Centre (4,000sq m* GFA), a 120-place childcare care centre, a mixed-retail development (anchored by IGA) and including fuel station

"Flagstone has been strategically primed to create a booming commercial, retail and residential precinct for its community," he said.

The Greater Flagstone Priority Development scheme has been approved by the Queensland State Government to give the market long-term confidence in construction over the next 20-25 years and the area is also set to capitalise on the adjoining future $1.2bn QLD State Government infrastructure deal.
