Training College Scores in Slacks Creek

Gregory Woods and Daniel Pepper of Savills have just sold a Slacks Creek freestanding commercial building for $3.39 million to national training college, Skills Institute Australia.

The property had been previously marketed by another agency in early 2019 with no result.

Savills relaunched 3431 Pacific Highway to the market in late 2019 via a structured sales and leasing campaign and successfully negotiated a transaction which settled in the days before Christmas.

Director of Metropolitan Sales at Savills, Gregory Woods, said that Skills Institute Australia moved quickly to secure the building to expand their existing operations which are in close proximity.

Located on a 2,312sq m corner allotment, the modern commercial building offers 1,288sq m of floor area with value add potential to renovate and reposition in the future.

Savills Metropolitan and Regional Sales Executive, Daniel Pepper said that the exposure to the Pacific Highway was a major drawcard for Skills Institute Australia due to the brand exposure opportunity.

“They really liked the exposure to the M1, and the layout configuration and partitioning in the building could easily be repurposed for their use,” Mr Pepper said.
