The campaign generated over 60 enquiries for lease with interest from a range of restaurant, bar and hospitality groups, with a Spanish restaurant & bar ultimately winning the race for the fitted venue.
364-366 Brunswick Street is a fully fitted, two-level hospitality venue with unprecedented exposure on one of Melbourne’s most famous retail strips, with renowned operators Vegie Bar, Transformer and Lune for neighbours to name a few. With a broad and rare frontage of over 15 metres the space benefits from curb side dining potential coupled with high levels of continuous foot traffic.
John McLaughlan and Glenn Ye of Savills Australia, Retail Leasing, brokered the deal on behalf of a private client who had the luxury of prospecting a host of potential tenants as the strong campaign generated multiple offers to lease.
“From the onset of the campaign we had high levels of enquiry and engagement from a number of very high profile and experienced hospitality operators, right up until the lease was signed,” said Mr McLaughlan.
“A fitted retail premises of this scale and location was always going to be highly sought after, and as a result of the fantastic competition generated during the campaign we were able to produce an exceptional result for our client.”
