Savills Studley Relocates Tremor Video to 1177 Avenue of the Americas

06 December 2018

Savills Studley today announced the successful completion of a 24,648-square-foot headquarters relocation on behalf of Tremor Video. Executive Managing Director Joseph Genovesi and Assistant Director Francis Santangelo represented Tremor Video in the transaction.

Tremor Video DSP, Inc. is a fully owned subsidiary of Taptica International Ltd, a global end-to-end mobile advertising platform for advertising agencies and brands. The company relocated from offices totaling 20,000 square feet at 1501 Broadway at the expiration of a sublease.

Tremor retained Savills Studley to develop a strategic real estate solution that would maintain an open, collaborative, efficient workplace, and provide a centrally located, easily accessible and less-congested location for its employees. Timing presented a critical hurdle as a change of plans left Tremor with just 90 days lead time. Tremor faced the likely prospect of requiring a move to temporary space.

“We prepared for the worst and at the same time committed our team to uncover all possible immediate long-term options,” said Genovesi. “We identified a sublandlord willing to work within our time constraints with a high-quality, well-located and efficient space on a full floor at 1177 Avenue of the Americas. The space was in move-in condition and includes a private gym and restrooms. Silverstein Properties has positioned 1177 Avenue of the Americas into one of the best properties in Midtown. With Silverstein’s understanding and timely cooperation, this was a win-win transaction for Tremor and the sublandlord.”

1177 Avenue of the Americas is centrally located two blocks from Grand Central Terminal and Bryant Park. The 26-story, 530,000-square-foot contemporary building features abundant amenities, including a lounge, art program, restaurant, gym, bicycle room and roof terrace.
