Savills Studley Arranges US HQ Relocation for Jellyfish

Savills Studley today announced the completion of a 34,645-square-foot lease on behalf of Jellyfish in Baltimore. The London-based digital marketing agency will relocate its US headquarters to the new Wills Wharf mixed-use tower by Beatty Development Group, which is expected to deliver in 2019. Jellyfish is the first tenant to lease space in the building and will occupy the full sixth floor.

George and I are thrilled and look forward to seeing the new space and what the future holds for the company.”

Jellyfish will move 140 employees from its current Scarlett Place offices at 250 South President Street to Wills Wharf in Q4 2019. Once completed, the $117 million development will stand 12 stories tall and offer more than 333,000 square feet of office, hotel and retail space. Located on the waterfront of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the building will feature a 156-room Canopy by Hilton hotel, expansive views and convenient access to the city’s most famous attractions, restaurants and retail stores.

We wanted to replicate that in Baltimore and believe we’ve found it at Harbor Point.”

Wills Wharf is the fourth building in Beatty Development Group’s 27-acre development. In 2016, Savills Studley also represented Exelon Corp., the anchor tenant of Beatty’s 900,000-square-foot mixed-use high-rise at 1310 Point Street, which kick-started the Harbor Point project. The energy company relocated 1,500 employees to its new 443,000-square-foot headquarters in the move. Harbor Point delivered its first property in 2010 and has since become Baltimore’s newest live-work-play neighborhood. At full buildout, the venture is estimated to cost $1.5 billion and scheduled to be completed in 2022.
