Global property advisor Savills has announced the appointment of former Sotheby’s International Realty agents Martin Schiller and Peter Jinks to its NSW Residential team.

Martin Schiller has been the head of Sotheby’s International Realty in Sydney for the past 15 years, specialising in the sale of luxury high-end properties throughout Sydney, with a strong focus on the eastern suburbs, city and north shore.

Peter Jinks has worked in the real estate industry for the past five years, during which time has been responsible for some landmark luxury sales in the Sydney market.

Michael Andrews, Savills NSW Managing Director, said the new appointments represent a strategic expansion of Savills residential real estate capabilities in the Sydney market.

He said the high-profile appointments will provide a greater market presence for Savills to capitalise on its global reach and expertise in the sale and marketing of premium residential property, and complements the group’s existing prestige Project Marketing team.

“Both Martin and Peter are highly regarded in the Sydney real estate industry and work closely with their large private client base,” Mr Andrews said.

“They bring extensive experience of Sydney’s high-end property sector to Savills and will significantly strengthen our team and provide new opportunities to grow our residential business.”

Mr Andrews said the new residential appointments highlight the fact that Savills is continuing to expand and attract the best talent to service all property sectors.

Savills, listed on the London Stock Exchange, is a world leader in the sale of prestige residential properties. With more than 200 offices worldwide, the group provides a multi-disciplinary service across all residential and commercial property sectors throughout its global network.
